Third year head coach Monte Moser is looking to lead the Lady Elks to their fourth straight GWOC Central title and past last year's district runner-up finish.  With a great group of experienced players, this year's squad looks very promising to accomplish both of these goals.

Outside of the high school volleyball realm, Monte has been very active in the USA junior volleyball community. He coached from 1994 to 1997 for several Miami Valley Juniors teams. Since 1999, Monte and several other area coaches have maintained a boys' juniors program under several names and associations (Dayton VBC, Dayton Boys' VBC, Dayton Juniors, etc.). Currently, Monte is the director and coach for the Air City Volleyball Club, providing off season training and playing opportunities for boys in the Dayton area.

Coach Moser remains an active player and official, as he has been since starting in volleyball in the early 1980's. He is a member of the Dayton Volleyball Club teams during the USA Volleyball adult season as well as participating in local mens' YMCA leagues and events. He is also a USAV and high school volleyball official of over 20 years and has been selected to work the OHSAA girls' playoffs many times.  He is a graduate of Grove City College (Pennsylvania) where he earned a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and History in 1989.
