Monte Moser Varsity Head Coach
Third year head coach Monte Moser is looking to
lead the Lady Elks to their fourth straight GWOC Central title and past
last year's district runner-up finish. With a great group of
experienced players, this year's squad looks very promising to
accomplish both of these goals.
Outside of the high school volleyball realm, Monte has
been very active in the USA junior volleyball community. He coached
from 1994 to 1997 for several Miami Valley Juniors teams. Since 1999,
Monte and several other area coaches have maintained a boys'
juniors program under several names and associations (Dayton VBC,
Dayton Boys' VBC, Dayton Juniors, etc.). Currently, Monte is the
director and coach for the Air City Volleyball Club, providing off
season training and playing opportunities for boys in the Dayton area.
Coach Moser remains an active player and official, as he
has been since starting in volleyball in the early 1980's. He is a
member of the Dayton Volleyball Club teams during the USA Volleyball
adult season as well as participating in local mens' YMCA leagues and
events. He is also a USAV and high school volleyball official of over
20 years and has been selected to work the OHSAA girls' playoffs many
times. He is a graduate of Grove City College (Pennsylvania)
where he earned a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and History in
1989.

Natalie Connor Varsity Assistant Coach
Coach Conner’s coaching career has included 2 years as
the JV and Assistant Varsity coach at Greenon High School, 1 year with Air City Chicks, 1 year with Team Atlantis, 4 years with
Dayton Juniors, and 1 year as the 7th grade Centerville Jr. High.
The 2006-2007 season marked a memorable year for the Jr. High team
as
their win-loss record was an impressive 17-1 and included the GWOC
tournament championship.
Natalie was a former member and 3 year letter winner as
a Setter at Shawnee High School and was recognized as First Team CBC
District, First Team All Area, and AllStar Regional Team. College
experience includes 2 years at Clark State Community College. Natalie
remains an active player on a women’s club team during the USAV adult
season as well as participating in local women’s leagues in Dayton.
During the summer, she participates in women’s and coed sand doubles
tournaments and leagues. Natalie has been instrumental in helping to
form the Dayton VBC which organizes most of the adult volleyball
leagues and tournaments in the Dayton area.
Natalie currently resides in Centerville and has two
daughters in the Centerville school district. Her oldest daughter Miranda is a
member of the junior varsity volleyball team. Natalie attended
college at Clark State Community College and is employed as a Paralegal
for McNamee & Stone L.P.A. in Beavercreek.

Sarah Myers Reserve Head Coach
Sarah Myers is entering her fourth season with the Lady Elks volleyball program. She continues as the Junior Varsity
Girls' Volleyball Coach again this fall. Before
joining the Centerville Elks, she served as the Junior Varsity Girls'
Volleyball Coach for Alter High School during the 2001-2005 seasons.
Sarah also was a coach for Dayton Juniors Volleyball Club for four
seasons coaching 14 & under and 13 & under girls. For the past
several seasons she has coached boys teams for Dayton Juniors
and Air City Volleyball Club.
Sarah was a 4 year Varsity right side hitter at Alter
High School from 1993-1997. She attended St. Bonaventure University on
a volleyball scholarship. Sarah transferred to Cleveland State
University after her sophomore season, due to the discontinuing of the
program at St. Bonaventure. She completed her collegiate career by
playing right side and defensive specialist for Cleveland State
University.
Sarah graduated from Cleveland State in 2001 with a
bachelor's degree in social work. She has been a licensed social worker
at AIDS Resource Center Ohio since graduation, and was promoted to
Program Manager of Client Services last fall. Sarah resides in Dayton.

Teresa Beach Freshmen Coach
Teresa steps into the role of Freshmen Coach after being
part of the Lady Elks as a volunteer assistant of the junior varsity
and freshman teams the past two seasons. Teresa played
for Fairmont High School, graduating in 2006. She has played for
both Dayton Juniors and Greene County volleyball clubs during junior
olympic seasons. She is now a
middle childhood education major in her fourth year at Wright State
University.
