Elk 8th Graders Claim GWOC Championship
For the 4th consecutive year, the Centerville Elks 8th Grade Volleyball
Team captured the Greater Western Ohio Conference's South Division
Championship with a thrilling 2-set win over the Springboro Panthers.
Head Coach Chris Conner, who just completed his 3rd year with the team,
improved his overall record to 50-5 with the win as the Elks wrapped up
a near-perfect 18-1 season.
The team members this year from Magsig were McKenzy Brewer, Megan
Credit, Jenny Harrison, Allison Jolley, Bethany Krause, Erin Riddiford,
Maggie Schutter and Anna Smith as well as team managers Rachel Patton
and Jenny Samiec.
The team members this year from Tower Heights were Alexis Hall, Chrissy
Matthews, Shannon McCarthy and Karlie Roshong.
The team members this year from Watts were Payton Myszka and Alex
Steiner.
